Since 2008, The Connors Agency Business Scholarship has recognized a graduating senior from Mechanicville High School who demonstrates outstanding business knowledge, strong character, and an exceptional work ethic.
The Connors Agency is proud to announce that Alex Shakow has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Connors Agency Business Scholarship.
Alex has distinguished himself through his dedication both in the classroom and in athletics. Ranked tenth in the Class of 2026, he is a member of the National Honor Society and a three-sport varsity athlete, competing in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. He has also earned recognition as a Section 2 Basketball Scholar-Athlete.
This fall, Alex will attend Western New England University, where he has been awarded a Merit Scholarship. He plans to major in Finance while continuing his athletic career as a member of the university’s lacrosse team.
Alex is the son of David and Kristina Shakow.
