Give the Gift of Life: Join The Connors Agency and the American Red Cross for Our Summer Blood Drive

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood. Whether it’s for accident victims, cancer patients, individuals undergoing surgery, or those living with chronic illnesses, blood donations are a vital part of saving lives. That’s why The Connors Agency is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to host a summer community blood drive. 

This blood drive is being held in memory of James Madison, whose legacy of kindness and community spirit will continue through the lifesaving generosity of blood donors.

Friday, August 7 
12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Hillcrest Fire Department 
145 Pruyn Hill Road, Mechanicville, NY

Why Your Donation Matters 

Blood cannot be manufactured. It can only come from generous volunteer donors. Every donation has the potential to help multiple patients and provides hospitals with the blood supply they need for emergencies and ongoing medical care. 

Blood donations are especially important during the summer months, when donations often decline due to vacations, travel, and busy schedules. At the same time, the need for blood remains constant. 

By taking about an hour out of your day, you can make a lasting difference for someone facing one of the most difficult days of their life. 

Before You Donate 

To help make your donation experience a success: 

• Drink plenty of water before your appointment.  

• Eat a healthy meal before donating.  

• Bring a photo ID.  

• Review eligibility requirements at RedCross.org if you have questions about donating.
